The highly anticipated casting update for Mike White’s Emmy winning series “The White Lotus” is finally here, and the third installment of the series includes stars from the “Harry Potter” and “Mission: Impossible” franchises as well as from Marvel and DC. We will also be seeing a familiar face returning.
Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter Franchise), Leslie Bibb (Iron Man), Dom Hetrakul (Bangkok Dangerous), Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III), Parker Posey (Superman Returns) and Tayme Thapthimthong (Paradox) join the cast of season 3, alongside previously announced returning cast member Natasha Rothwell. The series will begin production in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok in February and will follow a new group of guests at another White Lotus property.

The anthology series is well known and loved for its mystery and intrigue that comes with every seasons new storyline and as each episode progresses, the show follows the exploits of various guests and employees of a tropical resort over the span of a week. The addition of the foreign locations to the story only makes things that much more interesting. With a new set of characters every season, we are promised a season full of excitement at every turn, full of luxury, splendour, drama, twists, turns and of course comedy.
The first installment, which premiered July 2021 and was set in Hawaii, received 20 Emmy® nominations across 13 categories and ten wins, the most wins of any program that year, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. The second installment, which premiered in December 2022, was set in Sicily and garnered 23 Emmy® nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series.
HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the third installment.
