Like her ex-husband, the supermodel has recently come out of retirement. But while sports fans tell me that Tom Brady’s return to the field has been less than spectacular, Bündchen has stayed booked and busy.
Photos published in People show the former Victoria’s Secret Angel posing for a photoshoot on a Florida beach in a totally sheer black dress accessorized with a wide belt—the latest in a series of modeling jobs she’s taken recently. Already, Bündchen has fronted Louis Vuitton’s campaign for the new Yayoi Kusama handbag collection. The speculation is that Brady’s decision to un-retire from the NFL was a primary factor in the couple’s divorce. So the fact that the quarterback’s comeback season with the Buccaneers ended in a flop while Bündchen appears to be already back On Top? Revenge dress.
“[Bündchen] is super charged about her career in the next few months,” an insider source told People on January 20. “She is busy making decisions and feels happy and more settled than she has in a long time.” Brady, meanwhile told ESPN in November that, despite his disappointing start, he had “zero” regrets about ending his retirement early. “I don’t really regret those types of things—I think when I commit to it, I mean it and I do my best and try to give everything I can to this particular opportunity.”
That’s good for him, I guess. But, more importantly, good for Gisele Bündchen.
