After watching Chris Evans save the planet in a skin-tight suit for over a decade, it’s hilarious to watch the Marvel actor as the damsel-in-distress in Ghosted, the new Apple TV+ action comedy that began streaming on Friday. Directed by Dexter Fletcher, Ghosted starts off as a sweet romantic comedy about a down-to-earth dude named Cole (Evans) who meets a cute girl named Sadie (Ana de Armas, who also acted opposite Evans in Knives Out and The Gray Man). Cole is determined to track Sadie down after she ghosts him… only to discover she’s secretly a CIA agent in the middle of a dangerous mission. Don’t expect Ghosted to change your life, but do expect to kick back with a few beers, and have a good time.
