Get a Free Place To Work in LA for 6 Months From theOffice

Are you looking for a quiet, amazing place to work?

As an LA resident, I’m often struggling to find the best places to write. Coffee shops are fine, but you have to buy things and sometimes they ask you to leave if you stay at a table long enough.

What I like is the idea of a communal workspace for writers.

Well, look no further than theOffice in Santa Monica. It is one of the country’s premiere coworking spaces. They’ve hosted a who’s who of Hollywood writers in their space over the years including J.J. Abrams, Susannah Grant, Clark Gregg, David Scarpa, Jen Celotta, and others.

Now, they’re offering a fellowship for one lucky winner who will receive six months of 24/7 access to theOffice in Santa Monica, CA. If you’re an up-and-coming writer in the west Los Angeles area looking for a quiet, dedicated workspace to take your craft and career to the next level, this is for you.

The deadline to apply is June 30th. The best part? It’s completely FREE to enter.

How It Works

You send them a sample of your best piece of writing along with a short email explaining why this fellowship is right for you. Their judges will select a winner who will receive six months of free 24/7* access to the space.

This fellowship is equivalent to their “Premium Membership,” the highest level of membership they offer, which has a $2700 value. The winner also receives other perks of membership including unlimited coffee/tea, a locker for storage, free Wi-Fi, and the opportunity to connect with our room of working writers.

This year’s fellowship starts Jul. 17th, 2023, and runs through Jan. 16th, 2024. It’s completely free to enter.

The winner will be announced the week of Jul. 10th.
