The long-awaited 4.1 version of Genshin Impact is nearing its release, and with it comes a slew of new content for travelers to experience. This new version of the game comes just in time to celebrate the game’s third Anniversary with an Archon story expansion, two new world bosses, and two new Catalyst characters that will join the roster as 5* characters.
Starting off will be the introduction of the Northern area of Fontaine. The Traveler is sent to this area in search of Childe after the events in the Court of Fontaine. As players explore this new area, they will come across two new boss enemies, a Millennial Pearl Seahorse who dishes out Electro Damage, and the Experimental Field Generator which counteracts the effects of gravity.
The character roster is expanding once again with the introduction of two new characters: Neuvilette and Wriothesley. Neuvilette is a Hydro Catalyst user who deals damage through straight-line surging torrents, while Wriothesley challenges enemies from up close, dealing Cryo damage with his fists. Both characters consume health to buff the damage of certain types of attacks. Neuvilette will be available with Hu Tao during the first round of Event Wishes, followed by Wriothesley and Venti in the second.
Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact will also see a collaborative poetry event between Mondstadt and Liyue. The festival features several mini-games, and an exclusive 4-star Catalyst can be redeemed as a reward.
Additionally, the daily login event is back with up to x10 Intertwined Fates and other bonuses. To celebrate the anniversary, players can claim x1,600 Primogems, some Fragile Resin, and two unique gadgets: The Portable Aerodynamic Gelatinous Bubble Generator and Itti Bitty Octobaby. Genshin Impact 4.1 will arrive on September 27 on PC, PlayStation, Android and iOS.
