The holiday season has officially begun with the drop of Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas lineup. Every year, we have been treated to holiday delicacies of Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Rankin-Bass animated classics, Disney’s The Santa Clause franchise, Pixar productions such as Frozen and the Toy Story hits, and Freeform exclusives. It is not Christmas without Freeform’s festive celebration.
For the 2022 schedule, new premieres will include Frozen II, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, the movie Last Christmas, and Mister Magoo’s Christmas Carol. If you prefer more “adult” themes in your holiday programming, Freeform will offer Christmas-centric episodes of The Simpsons and Family Guy throughout the month. The former even started a month ahead this week with Christmas, which kicked off with The Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire.
For most of us, the Freeform 25 Days of Christmas countdown is a yearly tradition so despite it not being December yet, there is still a lot to be excited about. As a new introduction to 25 Days, ABC.com and the ABC app will have an unlocked channel, Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas Past, beginning November 21st. Fans can ring in the holiday festivities a little early if they cannot wait until December 1st. It’s clear Disney is focusing on a lot of their Christmas favorites as there are multiple showings of the Santa Clause movies, Disney’s A Christmas Carol, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas.
Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas will start the yuletide cheer on December 1st.
