The judge overseeing the $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems against Fox News has issued a one-day delay on the start of the trial to Tuesday, raising the possibility of a settlement between the cable news network and the company that designs voting machines for federal elections.
“The Court has decided to continue the start of the trial, including jury selection, until Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. I will make such an announcement tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 7E,” Judge Eric Davis said in a statement on Sunday.
