The new Find The Force event brings new content from the Star Wars prequel trilogy to Fortnite, with new quests to complete and rewards to earn. Players have until 9 AM on May 23rd to complete three Star Wars-themed quests. In return for completing quests, players will earn special Galactic Reputation Points, which unlock two tracks of event cosmetic rewards.
The island itself hasn’t changed, and Fortnite’s best landing spots this season are still available, but players will need to find special Star Wars items and weapons to complete Find The Force quests. These include Rift Gates, which players can enter to receive lightsabers and learn unique Force powers from Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul. There are also a limited number of special Republic Chests, which players can open to receive the powerful Mythic DC-15 Blaster weapon.

To find Rift Gates, players should look for holograms of Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Darth Maul scattered across the island. Interacting with them allows players to open a small rift where they can receive a lightsaber and train in the ways of the Force. For example, learning from Obi-Wan and Anakin grants players Force Pull and Force Push, respectively, while learning from Maul gives players the ability to hurl terrain objects at other players with the Force.
Unlike Rift Gates, Republic Chests are marked on players’ maps. However, there are only a few in each match, making it hard to search for them before other players get to them. On the other hand, finding and hiring Fortnite’s friendly NPCs isn’t too tricky, as many Fortnite players don’t hire help when playing matches, and there are several NPCs who can be found all across the island.
Players also have a quest to launch Fortnite’s Kinetic Ore, a mineral only found at Shattered Slabs. Finally, there are a few traversal and survival quests, but all players have to do to complete them is keep playing matches.
