Film Mode Entertainment will be screening the film for buyers for the first time at AFM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 1:30pm PT and again on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1:30pm PT, both at AMC Santa Monica, Screen 2.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the amazing Manifest West team, both in front of and behind the camera. The film is a commercially viable top-quality thriller that raises the genre bar, that both buyers and audiences around the globe have been clamoring for.” Said Epstein
In Manifest West, a seemingly normal family moves off the grid into untamed North American wilderness in the hopes of escaping the pressures of modern society. But as secrets are revealed and tensions rise within the family, they realize you can’t escape what’s going on in your own household, no matter how far you move up a mountain.

Manifest West boasts a highly talented team in front of the camera and behind the scenes, whose combined box office earnings are close to the $100 million mark (USD). Each cast member has a dedicated global following from their work on such hit films and and TV shows as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Americans, Hacksaw Ridge, Happy Hunting, Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories, The Blacklist, The Outpost, Under The Stadium Lights, Shooter, Father Stu and Spin Me Around.
“We wanted to explore the idea of freedom in modern society. Is it still possible to move off the grid and have true autonomy, or are we too interdependent? The story is told through the eyes of very human characters, people who have moral shades of grey. Like everyone, they can be the heroes and villains in their own story.” Said Joe Dietsch and Louie Gibson.
