Before Lizzy Caplan and Joshua Jackson put their own spin on Fatal Attraction, the original 1987 thriller is practically required viewing. Glenn Close and Michael Douglas star as Alex Forrest and Dan Gallagher, respectfully. After a heated weekend affair, Dan returns to his life as a married man, but the single Alex is less content to leave their fling in the past. Featuring some iconic line deliveries by Close (who can forget, “I’m not going to be ignored, Dan!”), a twisted and steamy romance and a truly unhinged ending, Fatal Attraction is hard to top, but we’ve still got our fingers crossed for Paramount+’s adaptation.
