Eva Mendes got candid about her beauty routine and how she maintains a glowing and flawless complexion at age 49.
On Monday, the Fast and Furious actress – who admitted she loves waiting for Ryan Gosling to get home – shared a look inside her spa day devoted to skincare and revealed that she shaves her face.
Then on Tuesday, encouraged by the supportive comments she shared some close up photos of her skin and the process she goes through.
‘Shaving my face! I received a lot of comments on yesterday’s post from women who’ve been shaving their face for years-ok I guess “dermaplaning” is the preferred word but it is what it is and I LOVE it!’ she remarked.
‘Gracias for making my skin glow @marianalvergara,’ she captioned the post.

The mom of Esmeralda, nine, and Amada, seven, with Gosling, 42, revealed that she started with the face shaving which is known as dermaplaning.
She followed that up with her dermatologist’s Diamond Peel, then some oxygen and a sheet mask.
The Hitch star has her treatments done at the Beauty Villa Vergara spa in Beverly Hills, California.
The Training Day actress responded to several comments that asked her about the face shaving process, including one that asked her how often she has it done.
‘I’m a beast so I probably need every other day! Ha. My hair grows back if I get chills,’ she commented. ‘I’ll literally be shaving my legs in the shower and get chills and all my work is undone!’
In another reply she gushed about how good her skin feels after being shaved.
‘Makeup and moisturizer goes on much smoother. I’m hairy tho. My Cuban Papi is a man bear and I’m his mini me,’ she quipped.
The 2 Fast 2 Furious star has been with the Barbie actor since meeting on the 2011 set of A Place Beyond the Pines.
The role served as a personal turning point for Gosling, and in an interview for GQ he admitted that he’d never considered having kids before he met Eva.

‘I wasn’t thinking about kids before I met her, but after I met Eva, I realized that I just didn’t want to have kids without her,’ he recalled.
‘And there were moments on The Place Beyond the Pines where we were pretending to be a family, and I didn’t really want it to be pretend anymore. I realized that this would be a life I would be really lucky to have.’
The couple’s first child, Esmeralda, was born in 2014, with Amada following two years later. Barbie marks a return to the silver screen for the first time in four years.
‘I wanted to spend as much time as I could with them,’ he explained to the outlet.
