Diablo 4’s Duriel is Dropping Double the Uber Uniques For a Limited Time

Although it isn’t forever, Papa Duriel is dropping double the Uber Uniques for a little while in Diablo 4, just in time for the holidays. Let me do the math on that real quick.. 0% x 2 = … 0%!

Duriel’s dumpy is dropping doubles until January 8. That means double the (extremely low chance) of getting the following items:

• Doombringer (Barbarian, Necro, Rogue).
• The Grandfather (Barb, Necro).
• Melted Heart of Selig.
• Andariel’s Visage.
• Harlequin Crest (aka Shako).
• Ring of Starless Skies.
• Ahavarion, Spear of the Lycander (Druid, Sorcerer).

As I jested above, zero times two is still zero, but if it means the 100 runs it would otherwise take you to get Shako would be 50 instead; at least you can try to look on the bright side. Just remember, Season 3 is just around the corner, beginning around January 23, so I wouldn’t go too crazy grinding these if you’re only planning on using them this season.

Game Updates

• Echo of Duriel drop rates for Uber Uniques will now be doubled until January 8.

Developer Note: We’re boosting Duriel Uber Unique drop rates until January 8 to help all those looking for that special piece of gear. Happy Holidays!

• Vampire Power Update:
  • Metamorphosis: Unstoppable duration changed to a flat rate instead of scaling with Vampiric power level.
    • Unstoppable duration changed to 2.5 seconds at all levels. No longer increases per level.
    • Damage increased from 80%/120%/160% to 110%/180%/250%
  • Note: Metamorphosis in-game tooltip will not reflect these new values, and will be updated at a later date through a client update.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where in extreme cases, Charged Bolts would result in stability and performance issues.

So, all-in-all, not a very meaty patch. Which makes sense, considering Christmas is literally this weekend. I doubt the team wants to drop a giant patch in, inevitably break a bunch of stuff, then dip for the holidays. So let’s all just try to enjoy the double Uber Unique drops and chill until we get some Season 3 news.
