The second season of Dexter: Resurrection premieres later this year on Paramount+, which means there’s still time to catch up on the critically acclaimed debut season of this small-screen favorite. The newest iteration of the beloved franchise picks up a few weeks after the events of the series finale of Dexter: New Blood and centers on Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and his son, Harrison (Jack Alcott), reconnecting in New York City. The reunion goes pretty well (all things considered), but the father/son team soon learn that Dexter can’t outrun his past.
If you enjoyed the original series, you’ll love Dexter: Resurrection.
