Google Play is slowly bringing high-profile mobile games to PC, and today the company announced the next big get. Supercell’s Clash of Clans and Clash Royale–two of the largest mobile games in industry history–are now available to play on PC through the Google Play Games Beta client.
Both Clash of Clans and Clash Royale are identical to their mobile counterparts, with all future updates made to mobile also coming to these new PC versions. The games also control exactly as they do on mobile, with the mouse acting as a player’s finger for tap controls.
Those who have a Supercell ID can also log in to their accounts in this PC version and pick up right where they left off, and they can play with friends on mobile devices through cross-play. However, a single account cannot be logged in on mobile and PC at the same time.
The release of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale also comes with a new update for the Google Play Games Beta client running them, as Google has announced support for 4K resolution and an improved search feature for included games. The client will also now support controllers, with the PS5 DualSense and standard Xbox controller specifically mentioned as compatible.
The Google Play Games Beta client is available now on the official Google Play website. Clash Of Clans and Clash Royale can be downloaded through the client once installed.
