Ciara and Russell Wilson are expecting their fifth child, with the couple sharing the news in a sweet Instagram announcement featuring their four children’s names and a tiny baby onesie.
The 40-year-old singer and her husband, 37, revealed the news on Sunday in a joint post that offered a playful glimpse at their growing family.
In the video, Ciara proudly showed off her growing baby bump as a clothesline displayed five white garments.
Four shirts featured the names of their children, Future, Sienna, Win and Amora, while a tiny onesie at the end of the line was left blank.
Ciara also held up five fingers as she smiled for the camera, while Russell joined her for the family announcement.
One of their children appeared to have taken on photographer duties for part of the shoot.
“One more person to Love,” the couple captioned the post.
The baby will be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Russell. She shares her eldest child, 12-year-old Future Zahir, with rapper Future, while she and Russell are parents to Sienna Princess, nine, Win Harrison, six, and Amora Princess, two.
Ciara and Russell married in 2016 and have often shared glimpses of their family life with their followers.
Russell Wilson wanted ‘cinco’
It seems the idea of a fifth child was not exactly a surprise to Russell.
In July, Ciara told Us Weekly that her husband had already been thinking about another baby shortly after the birth of their daughter Amora in December 2023.
Ciara recalled that while she was still in the delivery room, Russell asked her, “So, cinco?”
She laughed about the moment, saying she told him to slow down and enjoy the arrival of their new baby before thinking about another.
It appears Russell eventually got his wish.
A close family bond
Russell has also spoken openly about his relationship with his stepson, Future Zahir, and the responsibility he felt when he became part of Ciara’s life.
Earlier this year, he spoke about their relationship on the “I Am Athlete” show, describing raising his stepson as a responsibility he was prepared to embrace.
“I know she’s the one for me. But also too, I’m gonna take this responsibility as well,” he said.
The couple’s latest announcement was met with congratulatory messages from friends and fellow celebrities, including television personality La La Anthony, who celebrated the news in the comments.
With another little one on the way, the Wilson family is preparing to become a family of seven.
