The new year always brings with it a lot of exciting announcements. If you’re in Vegas though, you might get the chance to see The Chicks in 2023.
Originally known as the Dixie Chicks before changing the name, The Chicks are a dynamic country-music trio. Since forming in 1995, the band has been pumping out hit after hit and has continued to be a mainstay amidst everything the band has gone through during its inception.
I’m sure most of us remember them being cast out from the country world after making remarks about then-president George W. Bush. Even so, the band managed to finally shed all of the bad vibes and bring something new into the 2020s.
Now, it looks like the band’s hard work is paying off as their big announcement for 2023 is taking them to Vegas.
The Chicks are headed to Vegas this spring for a six-night special.
While you can find more info in the Twitter post from the band below, this doesn’t come as a surprise since the Chicks’ comeback has been a thing of beauty. Not only has the band managed to gain most of its fans, but also introduce itself to an entirely new generation. It’s so cool to the band back together after all of this time.
According to the tweet from The Chicks account, there will be multiple dates from which you’ll be able to get tickets but all of them are during May. If you weren’t able to see them on tour and want a chance to see them, Vegas might be a good option for you.
I can imagine The Chicks putting on a pretty good show. With the massive catalog they have, there are plenty of popular hits from back in the day including “Cowboy Take Me Away,” “Goodbye Earl,” “Not Ready to Make Nice” along with something new like “Gaslighter.” Either way, the band is sure to do a mix of both old and new songs.
