Confessions are coming rapid-fire as new details leak from Britney Spears’ tell-all memoir “The Woman in Me.”
Aside from spilling the beans on her relationship with Justin Timberlake and fling with Colin Farrell, Spears is also revealing why she loves taking near-naked pics and posting them on Instagram.
In an excerpt obtained by The New York Times, Spears wrote, “I know that a lot of people don’t understand why I love taking pictures of myself naked or in new dresses. But I think if they’d been photographed by other people thousands of times, prodded and posed for other people’s approval, they’d understand that I get a lot of joy from posing the way I feel sexy and taking my own picture.”
Spears has been enjoying more freedom now that she is no longer under a conservatorship.
Spears’ conservatorship, which spanned 13 years, was terminated in November 2021.
Britney reacted to the news with a video of her fans from outside the courthouse. She wrote Instagram, “I think I’m gonna cry the rest of the day !!!! Best day ever … praise the Lord … can I get an Amen ??☀️?? ???? #FreedBritney.”
Spears’ life under the conservatorship will be a major topic in her memoir, which drops October 24.
