They dated for a few months before Tarik flew to Hazel’s native country, the Philippines, to propose. The couple’s relationship transitioned over to 90DF season 8, where they did their best to plan a wedding, and keep their relationship afloat. Throughout their time together, drama followed Tarik and Hazel, making it tough for them to stay together.
By the end of 90 Day Fiancé season 8, the two had wed, but their problems didn’t stop there. As the couple tried to get custody of Hazel’s son, and bring him to the US from the Philippines, their marriage started crumbling. There was tension between Tarik and Hazel, especially when allegations that Tarik was abusive surfaced. While Hazel has confirmed that Tarik never physically abused her, their relationship was strained, and the couple reportedly broke up. They got back together within a few months. Things weren’t going well, but Tarik and Hazel continued to appear in 90DF franchise content until late 2021.

While Tarik and Hazel may have gotten back together in late 2021, it seemed clear that they’d broken up for good. Tarik posted on his Instagram story, informing his followers that Hazel was no longer living with him, and would be returning to the Philippines. This sparked rumors that the couple was getting a divorce. He seemed to say that they were no longer together, but in light of previous theatrics, some viewers were certain that he wasn’t telling the whole truth. Tarik’s breakup announcement was short-lived, and by the end of 2021, he and Hazel had apparently reconciled.
90 Day Fiancé’s Tarik & Hazel Currently Appear To Be Together
As of 2023, it seems like Tarik and Hazel are still together. However, that hasn’t been confirmed by either party. After posting about spending New Year’s Eve 2022 together, the two went quiet on social media. Hazel still posts occasionally, and although it’s unclear where she is (or what she is up to in her social posts), she does include Tarik in her posts from time to time. For example, she posted to honor his birthday in January 2023. While the couple has been through some tough times, it seems like they’ve finally settled into their life together, and are committed to making things work.
