The future looks bright for latest Marvel release Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The film is expected to bring in a domestic debut of $100-$120 million at the box office. This includes a Friday opening day of $46 million in America at over 4,300 figures.
As The Hollywood Reporter tells us, the third Ant-Man film is also doing well overseas earning $52.6 million through Friday. If this trend continues, the film is expected to be 30% ahead of the last film in the Ant-Man franchise.

For comparison, the first Ant-Man film brought in $57.2 million domestically over its three day weekend release. It would however go on to hear $519.3 million globally. The sequel debuted at $75.8 in North American and would go on to earn $622.7 million worldwide.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is doing well despite a lukewarm response from audiences and critics. Currently on Rotten Tomatoes, the film only has a 48% approval rating with critics. It fares slightly better with audiences at 84%. Quantumania also has a “B” Cinemascore.
Quantumania marks the return of director Peyton Reed along with stars Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp.) Other cast members include Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, Bill Murray, Katy O’Brian, William Jackson Harper, James Cutler and David Dastmalchian.
