90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise season 2 premiered on Discovery+ in June 2022, after months of anticipation, and heavily featured couple, Daniele Gates and Yohan Geronimo. Although the Caribbean-based spin-off was scrutinized when it was first announced, 90DF franchise viewers quickly became enthralled by the tumultuous relationships presented, and each duo’s challenges. The spin-off was so popular that it recently returned in April 2023 for season 3.
Daniele and Yohan were first introduced when the season 2 trailer was released in May 2022. Referring to Yohan as, “the love of my life” and, “the incredible Hulk,” Daniele explained how she met Yohan while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. With Yohan ten years younger than her, and over a foot taller, the couple’s differences tested their relationship. One scene from the trailer (as per TVLogia at YouTube) showed Daniele’s surprising reaction to seeing Yohan’s home. Meanwhile, Daniele later worried in a confessional that Yohan may, “only [be] marrying me to move to the U.S. and send money back to his family.”

Born and raised in New York, Daniele is a public school teacher who founded her own business, LiveYinsa, in 2018. Specializing in yoga and Ayurveda, Daniele also sells Ayurvedic skincare products under the brand name, Yinsa Skincare. Daniele, described by her friends as, “the yoga fairy,” can be found, “at the beach or the farmers market.” Daniele‘s Instagram has over 27,000 followers, and contains videos involving meditations, chakras, and natural lifestyles. It’s also filled with plenty of photos featuring Yohan. She relocated to the Dominican Republic to be with Yohan, and the move prompted their appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4.
90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise’s Daniele Yohan & Daniele Are Thriving
Yohan, who still lives in the Dominican Republic, is a self-proclaimed Christian who’s passionate about fitness and working out. Yohan opened a butcher shop in Villa Hermosa, called La Bendicion, in March 2022. Like Daniele, Yohan frequently spends time outside, particularly at the beach or nearby rivers. Yohan‘s Instagram ballooned to over 16,000 followers during his time on 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise season 2, and 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4.
Perhaps surprisingly, Daniele and Yohan are still married, despite controversies in their current appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4, currently airing on Lifetime. Fans praised Yohan for standing up to Daniele, who tends to lie to Yohan. Despite Daniele’s difficulty assimilating to cultural differences, their marriage appears to be going strong. With the announcement of 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise season 3, Daniele and Yohan will likely not participate, since they’re doing well, but that hasn’t been revealed.
