There may not have been a more surprising success story in the last ten years than Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The animated release by Sony pictures, wowed critics and audiences alike with its fresh take on a comic book film.
Both the movie’s style and storytelling felt groundbreaking, and like a fresh of breath air.
Introducing Miles Morales
Outside of how successful the movie was, one of the ramifications of Into the Spider-Verse’s success was that it pushed Miles Morales into the forefront.
The non-Peter Parker version of Spider-Man had gained a cult following from comic book fans, but had never been featured so successfully in the mainstream.

Following the film’s release, fans clamored for more.
Now, with Miles set to return to theaters for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, Miles and his fellow mulitversal Spider-Men are set to return.
Miles Morales Action Figure
If you are a Spider-Verse, or more specifically a Miles Morales fan, you will love the new action figure that has arrived at Walt Disney World.
This figure features Miles in his black and red Spider-Man suit. While I love Peter Parker’s Spider-Man as next as the next person, Miles’ black suit is so much cooler.
Having black be the primary color, with red on the trim, makes Miles look more sleek and dangerous.
For this figure, Miles seems to either be hiding, or perhaps watching someone.
I really like that this figure comes more than just Spider-Man, the simple addition of the wall adds both action, and a sense of motion to the figure.
Finally, I should also mention that this Miles Morales action figure comes with markers, so you can decorate the wall and base that Spider-Man is above!
