The Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 trailer finally reveals a release date on Max while also showcasing what’s coming up in the final episodes of the DC TV show. It has been an emotional rollercoaster for the Doom Patrol audience following the confirmation that the show is not coming back for another season. To make matters more complicated, after Doom Patrol season 4, part 1 finished its run in January, viewers were left without answers as to when part 2 would actually arrive on Max.

Despite having had to wait for longer than expected, Warner Bros. TV and Max are finally getting ready to roll out the final episodes of Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 ahead of the arrival of DC Universe’s new TV shows and movies. Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 is confirmed to premiere on Thursday, October 12, as confirmed in a trailer for the remaining six episodes.

Similar to part 1, Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 will drop the first two episodes when it returns on October 12, before airing the remaining episodes weekly until the series finale on Thursday, November 9. In the series’ gripping final episodes, the Doom Patrol meet old friends and foes as they race to defeat Immortus and get back their longevities. Battling between saving the world and each other, the Doom Patrol are forced to face their deepest fears and decide if they are ready to let go of the past in order to take their future into their own hands… and away from the zombie butts.

While reflecting on their past villains and what has come before, the Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 trailer reveals a lot of exciting details for the remaining six episodes. Anyone who loves Matt Bomer and Brendan Fraser can look forward to seeing them in person, as they are spotted multiple times in the final trailer. The Doom Patrol is also spotted with Casey Brinke for the first time after she was introduced in part 1.

The Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 trailer also highlights the battle they are facing as they fight to get back their longevity, with Jane and Rita having aged rapidly since part 1. Despite having died in Doom Patrol season 3, Timothy Dalton’s Niles Caulder is making a return as he shows up briefly in the trailer, although how he is back is unclear. Lastly, the footage also gives a taste of the highly anticipated Doom Patrol musical episode as Michelle Gomez’s Madame Rouge hilariously drops the F-bomb.

It’s bittersweet to see Doom Patrol come to an end, but it’s at least comforting to know the show will be able to conclude without any sudden cliffhangers. Based on the Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 trailer alone, there will be just as many comedic moments as there will be heartfelt ones, leaning into the show’s biggest strengths. With less than a month to go, it will be exciting to see how Doom Patrol season 4, part 2 brings the critically-acclaimed DC TV show to an end.
