Taylor Swift announces more The Eras Tour international dates

Taylor Swift‘s The Eras Tour isn’t just the first time the artist has toured with new music in years — it’s also set to become one of her biggest tours yet. What began as a five-month sweep across the United States is now going global.

Beginning in August 2023 and running through 2024, The Eras Tour will be venturing outside the United States — to Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and more locations around the world.

The United States leg of the tour ends on August 9 with a final show in Los Angeles, and the first South American stop to launch the tour internationally is set for just a few weeks later.

The Eras Tour is a celebration of Swift’s 17-year career as an artist, highlighting her biggest songs across numerous albums. Each concert is broken up into “eras,” featuring a selection of tracks from the same album performed in a row before the next one begins.

Every tour stop also features “surprise songs,” unique selections only played at some locations. She played “seven” while in her home state of Pennsylvania, for example, to honor the place she came from.

Millions of Taylor Swift fans have been playing her songs on repeat for years. And though only a fraction of those fans will have the privilege to see her perform live, she and her team are clearly doing their best to make the opportunity as accessible to as many people as possible.

It’s not easy to go on tour, even when it’s your job. Each of these shows is over three hours long with only short breaks between sets, and she does two shows in a row most weekends. By the end of Eras, however, Taylor Swift will have spent nearly a year and a half taking her music around the world — assuming dates further in the future aren’t in the cards.

If you do get the opportunity to see Taylor Swift’s tour, don’t pass it up. There likely won’t be another quite like it.
