Blizzard has released the first post-launch update for Diablo 4.
While the game isn’t on general sale until next week, players who bought the Deluxe or Ultimate edition were granted early access from June 1 at 4pm PST / 7pm EST (June 2 at 12am BST).
Blizzard said Diablo 4’s first update, which makes changes to two classes as well as enemy health, is a server-side hotfix which occurs in the background.
Among the changes, which are republished in full below, the Sorcerer’s Flame Shield is now placed on full cooldown after initially being equipped into an enchantment slot.
And there’s now a four second delay before another enemy is marked after the Rogue’s Inner Sight unlimited energy expires.

VGC’s 5-star Diablo 4 review said the game sees Blizzard back on top form.
“Diablo 4’s always-online requirement is a shame, and a few of the classes are somewhat slow to kick into high gear, but we’re only able to muster minor complaints for what is easily a game-of-the-year frontrunner, and Blizzard’s best game since Diablo 3.”
