Shea Serrano’s new sitcom Primo is an absolute charmer. Now streaming on Amazon Freevee, the coming-of-age comedy centers on Rafa Gonzales (played to perfection by Ignacio Diaz-Silverio), an endearingly naive teenager being raised by his mom and five overbearing uncles. Tonally, the show feels like an early 2010s ABC series (think The Goldbergs or Suburgatory) as the clever writing and optimistic spirit combine to make Primo a fun, bingeable delight.
