Ant-Man 4 In Early Discussions At Marvel Studios

After Avengers Endgame took place and we lost Tony Stark and Steve Rogers went back in time, only one character has made it to 4 solo movies, Thor played by Chris Hemsworth. Both Captain America and Iron Man ended their solo stories with a trilogy and continued on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Now it looks like Ant-Man, the goofiest of all the Avengers might be getting a fourth solo movie as well.

Despite the third Ant-Man film not having premiered yet, as the “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” pre screenings start, the reviews come out and the hype builds even more with only a few days left until the release conversations are already underway about a possible fourth film. “We’re already thinking about it,” They revealed.

Speaking with ComicBook.com, Marvel Studios Producer Stephen Broussard said “It’s like, every movie’s its own battle and you bear the scars of making it and wanting to make it great. But hope springs eternal and you start to put yourself back together after the journey of making the movie. You’re like, ‘Yeah, what if we did X and what if we did Y?’ Like the wheels start turning, you can’t help yourself. I don’t want to say anything about specifically what those are, but yeah, you can’t help yourself. Those conversations, those whispers have already started to happen between myself and Peyton and Kevin.”

Ant-Man and the Wasp find themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that pushes them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible and facing off against Kang the Conqueror.

The sequel to Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) is the 31st film of the MCU. The film is directed by Peyton Reed, written by Jeff Loveness, and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne alongside Jonathan Majors as Kang, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Kathryn Newton, David Dastmalchian, William Jackson Harper, Katy O’Brian, and Bill Murray.

The thrilling new storyline will kick off phase 5 of the MCU and will premiere of February 17th.
