Disney+’s new series Willow is an enchanting return to a magical world. Set about 20 years after the 1988 film, this new series follows the eponymous hero as he mentors a new generation of young heroes. When Madmartigan (Val Kilmer) and Sorsha’s (Joanne Whalley) son Airk (Dempsey Bryk) is kidnapped by evil forces, their daughter Kit (Ruby Cruz) leads a dangerous mission beyond the barrier to save him. Joining her are best friend Jade (Erin Kellyman), scholarly suitor Greydon (Tony Revolori), the roguish Boorman (Amar Chadha-Patel), and Airk’s latest love interest, kitchen maid Dove (Ellie Bamber). With Willow’s help, this motley crew embarks on a magical quest full of fun and hilarity.
