Your favorite meal is now just a text or Slack message away, through new AI-powered features from DoorDash.
The delivery platform has launched the DoorDash MCP (model context protocol) for corporate ordering to make it easier for companies to put their office restaurant orders and supply restocks on autopilot, DoorDash co-founder Andy Fang said during a media event in San Francisco, which was live streamed on Tuesday.
Additionally, the company has started piloting a feature via Apple Messages where people can text DoorDash what they’re craving, or to reorder their usuals, and it will order for them.
The product is currently live with 20,000 consumers in the U.S.,
