The third episode of season 2 of the “Yellowjackets” impresses with a overload of events. Viewers are still picking up their jaw from the floor from the previous episode and realizing that events will only get worse, because they need to continue to survive, and there is still no food. What will they do? Is one of them going to be the next delicacy? So many questions arise at the end of each series, but that’s why this show is so interesting. After all, everyone loves to solve riddles, especially when there are no clues and answers to them. So what will happen next?

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH COACH BEN AND TAISSA?

In the third episode, Coach Ben is still unable to move on from the events of last night. He can’t understand or accept what happened. And, of course, Ben is simultaneously struggling with hunger and falls into a state when he realizes that no one will come for them anymore. He plunges into the abyss of his memories and does not react to what is happening around him. So the viewer learns the story of Coach Ben and his boyfriend. He remembers the happiest moments when they were together and how his boyfriend offered to move in with him. This is quite a big step and he can’t just decide on it. After all, the girls are going to the national games and they could win and this is also important for him.

He seems to be in a state of hypnosis or something that makes him dive deeper and deeper into his thoughts and memories. And now he already sees how, after a quarrel with his boyfriend, he returns to him and says that he will not fly anywhere and will stay with him. After all, the most important thing for him is their relationship and to live the way they want. At this time, the TV shows that the plane crashed and its location is unknown. Is this an alternative reality? Or does Ben see it in his delirium?

But Ben isn’t the only one who can’t come to terms with what happened last night. Taissa goes outside and sees what happened to Jackie’s corpse. She gets hysterical and doesn’t understand what happened. Van tells her that she was directly involved in this, too. We won’t say exactly what Taissa did (watch the episode!), but it was terrible. Taissa does not believe this and she feels bad. She tells Van that she doesn’t remember it and apparently she was asleep when it all happened. Van is shocked because she was talking to her. What’s wrong with Taissa and Coach Ben?We’ll see…

IS LOTTIE REALLY TRYING TO HELP NATALIE?

In the third episode, we see Natalie desperately trying to escape from Lottie’s community. But Lottie suggests that she take her time and offers her help. Is she really trying to help? It is clear that in this community Lottie is appreciated and idolized, because she really helps people cope with their pain and injuries. But Natalie still does not believe in the sincerity of Lottie’s intentions and is trying to find something that she can hide in her bedroom. On her way, she meets a girl whom Natalie hurt (she almost lost her eye!) in order to escape from captivity (she thought so). Natalie studies the community and Lottie shows her how they live. Explaining their purpose by the fact that here they are free to express their emotions and can not be afraid of it. Will Lottie get through to Natalie?

In a group, they spend small sessions learning to express their emotions. Lottie offers to join Natalie, but she refuses. Then Lottie involves the girl in this session, who was attacked by Natalie. She asks her to say everything she feels about Natalie. And besides that, Lottie says she can hurt Natalie if she sees fit. The girl closes her eyes and says she feels angry. Natalie is ready to defend herself, but nothing happens. The girl hugs Natalie and forgives her.

So is Lottie as bad as Natalie says? After that, the audience sees that Lottie has a vision that her bee farm, which she protects and loves so much, is being attacked and all the bees killed in it. But, later, we see that all the bees are in place and Lottie only imagined it. Or was she seeing things she shouldn’t be seeing again? What does it mean?

WILL SHAUNA KILL SOMEONE AGAIN IN THE THIRD EPISODE?

Shauna and her husband Jeff are trying to mend their relationship after everything that happened. It would seem that problems should strengthen marriage bonds? But will it work in this case? Jeff is trying to find reasons why Shauna cheated on him. And it becomes clear to both of them that in marriage they have become more boring versions of themselves. Then Jeff decides to go on a spontaneous journey. But their plans are not destined to happen. They hit a person on the road (this is a well-known scheme of thieves). They rush to him, but he has a gun in his hand. He asks them to throw him the keys, but Shauna intercepts his gun. And, it would seem, they will be able to get away without losing their car.

But Jeff distracts Shauna and the thief hides in their car. He is in shock and does not understand how his wife is so fearlessly wielding a gun. For him, this is completely unacceptable. But Shauna does not give up and tracks their car in the evening and threatens with a gun whoever is doing this. She admits that she can’t restrain herself and really wants to shoot and kill them (that’s a twist!). But at the last moment she changes her mind and goes home, as if nothing had happened. Is wild Shauna back again?

WHO CONTROLS TAISSA IN THE THIRD EPISODE?

Taissa, waking up in the hospital after the accident, realizes that her wife is unconscious. She’s trying to figure out what’s going on with her. The nurse asks about the sign on Simone’s hand and what it means. Taissa sees that the creepy symbol from the woods is depicted on her hand. Did Taissa draw this? Taissa is trying to come to her senses and somehow figure out what to do next. And the audience sees how Taissa’s second self appears in the reflection. This is the evil and wild beginning of Taissa.

Were these the evil forces that controlled her when she was in the forest? Taissa is trying to find out from the second self what she needs from her. The second self depicts a small sign above the eye. Thus, she makes it clear to us that Taissa needs Van. It was such a mask she had in the woods, after the wolf attack. Taissa asks for a car from her assistant and drives off into the unknown. Are we really going to see an adult Van? How can she help Taissa?

BORED MORIARTY LOOKING FOR HIS SHERLOCK — IS IT MISTY AND WALTER?

After reading a letter from a mysterious stranger, Misty goes to meet him. After all, it looks like he has a lead on her case, and he can help find Natalie. Walter (Elijah Wood) confesses to Misty that he has long dreamed of working with her, because she is really good at detective work. Walter says that he has set up a meeting with a witness, who can shed light on everything. But when Misty realizes that it’s Randy (the one she studied with), she rushes to hide on the boat. After all, he has known her since school days and then everything will fail and they will not know anything.

Walter offers to use his earbuds so that Misty can hear everything and help him get to the truth. At first Randy (Jeff Holman) is saying some nonsense and something that they are not interested in at all. But then, Misty says that Walter needs to hit him and scare him properly so that he will crack. And, lo and behold! It’s starting to take effect. Misty realizes that Walter is also good at this thing. But the frightened Randy remembers only a strange group of people in purple who constantly drank Fanta from vending machines and that’s all! Misty realizes that they don’t have any leads, but then she remembers about the soda they were constantly drinking.

They used a credit card that can be traced. She asks Walter to help her, because she herself cannot cope with all these hacker tricks. Misty doesn’t understand why he’s helping her just like that. Walter says that maybe he’s always been looking for someone like Misty. After all, they are ideal for the role of detectives. Walter finds out the details of the credit card used by this group. And offers Misty to take a little trip. Has Misty found the perfect person for herself?

DID THIS REALLY HAPPENED?

After a terrible night in the woods, which everyone wants to forget as a terrible dream, the Yellowjackets are trying to somehow cheer themselves up. Shauna is very scared and afraid of what will happen next. She tells Lottie that she feels like she totally screwed up. And what happened at night scares her, and she is very afraid for the baby. Lottie says it’s not her fault. They did it together. And in order to somehow cheer up Shauna, she offers to arrange a baby shower for her. Natalie suggests burying Jackie’s remains next to the plane, as if she died there. She collects (very heavy moment!) them and leaves.

Meanwhile, the girls perk up and prepare gifts for Shauna. Misty decides to make an unexpected gift for Shauna’s baby. Natalie goes into the woods to the plane and buries everything that’s left of Jackie (sounds terrifying, but it’s true!). She apologizes for what they did. But Natalie understands that Jackie is much better off now than the survivors. After all, now things will take on a new turn and not for the better. And then Natalie sees a huge white moose, she tries to kill him, but he runs away from her. Was it a warning, or was it just Natalie’s imagination?

Natalie is just returning to this strange party, but does not understand why it is necessary. Everyone gives small gifts that they made with their own hands (or what they could do here). Misty reads a heartfelt monologue from “Steel Magnolias”. Everyone applauds her and the actress Samantha Hanratty, who plays teen Misty, is really great in this role. The next gift from Lottie is a blanket for the baby with the image of that mysterious sign from the woods. Natalie sees this and becomes furious.

She doesn’t understand how Lottie can be so calm about this. After all, this sign was next to the dead man from the cabin. And then strange things begin! Shauna suddenly has a nosebleed and a huge flock of birds suddenly falls on their cabin (all the birds are dead). Something terrible is waiting for them and there is no doubt about it… But what exactly? We’ll find out in the next episode.
