Disney+ has announced its programming for the month of December.
New series include National Treasure: Edge of History debiting on December 14. 22-year-old Jess Valenzuela (Lisette Olivera) sees her life turned upside down when she meets a mysterious stranger who holds a clue to an ancient treasure linked to her long-dead father. With the help of her friend Tasha (Zuri Reed), Jess uses her knack for puzzle-solving to try and crack the clues.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules streams on December 2. The antics of middle school student Greg Heffley continue, this time focusing on his complicated relationship with older brother Rodrick. Now, Greg takes on one of his biggest challenges yet – surviving a weekend alone with Rodrick and abiding by his growing list of rules.
Disney+ will also feature new musical specials like Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays on December 2, where the superstar acapella group goes on a magical whirlwind tour around the world. Encanto at the Hollywood Bowl will take viewers back into Casa Madrigal for a concert spectacular with the original voice cast of the Oscar-winning animated film on December 28.
