Disney On Ice – Mickey’s Search Party

Cape Town families looking for a school holiday outing can add a little Disney sparkle to their calendars as Disney On Ice presents Mickey’s Search Party skates into the Mother City.

Bringing high-energy adventure on ice featuring some of the studio’s most recognisable characters. Mickey Mouse and friends set off on a search for Tinker Bell, with appearances from favourites including characters from Frozen, Moana, Toy Story and Coco.



With impressive skating, colourful costumes and plenty of familiar moments, the production offers a chance for parents to revisit childhood favourites while introducing a new generation to Disney magic.

Where: Grand Arena, GrandWest.

When: Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 19 at 11pm, 2pm and 6pm.

Wes-Kaap 10 Year Anniversary

“It’s the one and only CPT” – a line that has become closely associated with YoungstaCPT’s love letter to the Mother City. Celebrating 10 years of music, the rapper is marking a decade of putting Cape Town stories, slang and culture front and centre.

From the streets that shaped him to the slang that made him recognisable, this anniversary is a celebration of a sound that feels proudly, unapologetically Cape Town.

Tsitsi Chiumya is back with a new show, and this time he is swapping solo struggles for the wild world of fatherhood. Fresh into his dad era, Tsitsi unpacks the pressure of becoming the “perfect” parent while still trying to remember who he was before nappies and bedtime routines entered the chat.
