Amanda Seyfried and Katie Holmes both embraced the two-tone denim trend in a classic, easy way. Pairing them with black slingbacks or Mary Janes and a relaxed-fit top creates a look that feels put together but not overly fussy. The contrast down the length of the jeans adds a subtle touch of personality, giving the outfit a bit more visual interest without being distracting.
Meanwhile, Sarah Pidgeon’s barrel jeans version works exceptionally well with bright red pumps. The pop of red instantly adds a feminine, confident touch to the jeans, and the lines on the pants help lengthen the silhouette while drawing the eye downward to her statement shoes. Add a black blazer, and you’ve got a sophisticated look.
The street style star pictured above also used a pop of red with her two-tone jeans; this time, by way of a red sweater tied around her shoulders. Between that and the jeans, the look doesn’t need anything more than a simple white T-shirt and black sandals.
Convinced yet? I shopped out some of my favorite two-tone jeans available right now.
