I’ve been steadily making my way through E.R. for the first time after falling in love with The Pitt and, foundationally speaking, one can see the connections between the two. Although I am still inclined to say I love Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) and his Pittsburgh medical team, I have fallen deeply in love with everyone in this earlier medical drama, including George Clooney — more like George Swoony as he plays a swoon-worthy pediatrician — and Dr. Kerry Weaver (Laura Innes). It really does do so many aspects of the medical field justice and it also packs the drama, which is never a bad thing in my book.
