Meghan Markle broke out her casual summer wardrobe to support Prince Harry at a recent polo match.
On June 17, the Duchess of Sussex was photographed watching her husband play polo in Santa Monica, California, wearing an oversized denim button-down top over a pair of loose-fitting denim shorts that one fan account has attributed to the brand DÔEN. According to their website, the “Lane” shorts retail for $148 and are currently sold out in all sizes.
Markle styled the summer take on a Canadian tuxedo with a pair of black sunnies and brown sandals, keeping her hair in a half-up-half-down style with loose face-framing strands.
According to The Daily Mail, the Duke of Sussex plays for the Los Padres polo team under the name Harry Wales. Unfortunately, his team lost their semi-finals match on Friday and will not play in the upcoming Pacific Coast Circuit Intra-Circuit Cup finals. (You can see more photos here.)
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently returned to The States from their first family visit to the U.K. since stepping back from their royal duties in March 2020. In early June, the Sussexes brought their three-year-old son Archie and one-year-old daughter Lilibet Diana to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. This marked Lilibet’s first-time meeting her great-grandmother and coincided with her first birthday.
The royal couple kept a low profile during their visit and were only briefly spotted behind the scenes at the Trooping the Colour before attending the National Service of Thanksgiving. Based on photographs from the festivities and reports from royal experts, the couple did not spend time with Kate Middleton and Prince William.
