The Penguin TV Show: Cast, Story Details & Everything We Know So Far
Matt Reeves continues his The Batman universe with some spinoff TV series, and the first to release is HBO Max’s The Penguin starring Colin Farrell.
Will The Penguin Feature An Appearance From Robert Pattinson’s Batman?
In both The Penguin’s first trailer and this new footage, some potential lines from Cobblepot could be directed toward Pattinson’s Dark Knight. Furthermore, the trailer does feature Penguin shooting a figure off-screen who could very well be Batman, especially considering Penguin’s prior comments about how people will say his name in the streets once this person is gone. However, he could also be talking to potential rivals looking to take advantage of the power vacuum in Gotham’s underworld following the death of Oswald’s boss Carmine Falcone (as seen in The Batman).
In any case, an appearance from Pattinson’s Batman does make sense and has been heavily rumored during The Penguin’s production. Although the show has been understandably delayed due to the strikes, it is still scheduled for 2024. With any luck, a new Penguin trailer will be released sooner rather than later.
