Meghan Markle’s 2023 Invictus Games looks have been a masterclass in chic corporate dressing, and we have officially moved forward in the curriculum to cocktail hour attire.
On September 16, the Duchess of Sussex attended the sporting event’s closing ceremony wearing a $798 Cult Gaia strapless tube dress that plays into some of the season’s sexiest trends while remaining appropriate for fancy client dinners. Though 100% polyester, the Raylene Gown—which is, unfortunately, sold out on the brand’s website—has a leathery appearance with lazercut floral cutouts. While that might sound too risqué for drinks with the boss, the thigh-length underlayer leaves just enough to the imagination.

Dare I say it, with Meghan Markle’s slick bun, nude pumps, and classic smokey-eye, this ‘fit could also serve as major bridal party inspo…if you’re still doing all of that. Luckily, a shorter version of the dress with 90s-inspired spaghetti straps is still available for $495 in the same color, as well as a more bridal white. Can anyone say reception outfit change?
