Kelsey Grammer is back in Boston, and he’s got a new bar to frequent where eventually everyone will know his name — and viewers can check out the watering hole in the official Frasier trailer above.
Grammer returns as the titular character in the first two episodes premiering October 12 followed by new episodes every Thursday.

The series follows Frasier as he returns to Boston to embark on a new chapter of life back at his old stomping grounds with new challenges, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to fulfill finally. His main goal, however, is to reconnect with his estranged son Freddy (Jack Cutmore-Scott) who is all grown up and a firefighter now living his own life which is now interrupted by his father’s return.
The 10-episode series also stars Nicholas Lyndhurst as Frasier’s old college buddy-turned-university professor Alan; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve; and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David.
Bebe Neuwirth will reprise the role of Lilith, ex-wife of Frasier and mother of Freddy, which originated in the hit NBC series Cheers. Peri Gilpin, who played Roz in the original Frasier, is also returning.
Additionally, a special titled Frasier: Inside the Series will air on October 7 via CBS, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how the new series came together. The half-hour special will be available to stream a day later via Paramount+ and simultaneously be available via the service’s official YouTube and Facebook pages, Pluto TV and Mixible.
