Marvel fans were delighted this summer when Rogers: the Musical debuted at Disney California Adventure.
The show was inspired by an episode of the Disney+ series Hawkeye, where Clint Barton attends the Broadway musical based on the life of Captain America.

A Disney California Adventure Fan-Favorite
In June 2023, Disney brought Rogers: The Musical into the real world in the form of a one-act play at the Hyperion Theater.
Featuring both new music, as well as fan-favorite songs such as “Star-Spangled Man” and “Save the City”, Rogers: The Musical was a huge hit with fans.

Following the premiere of the show, composer, conductor, and arranger Christopher Lennertz had this to say about the show’s music.
“[It] was really important to all of us … to give everyone — both musical theater fans and superhero fans — something they would love about the music. And the fact that we get to span 70 years and do everything from ‘40s-style big band jazz to a singer/songwriter style pop tune and obviously the Nick Fury patter song meets ‘Uptown Funk’ — it’s the idea of giving everyone something that they can grab onto and really feel like it’s part of their story too.”

Now, Marvel fans will have the ability to listen to their favorite numbers from Rogers: The Musical from the comfort of their own home.

At this time, there are no plans to release the soundtrack of physical media, but at least fans will be able to relive the Marvel musical spectacular!
