Thus far, we’ve ranked the first two albums in the Jonas Brothers discography. Now, it’s time to talk about A Little Bit Longer.

This is the third album from the band and is one with a ton of amazing songs. I mean I’m a Jonas Brothers fan so I feel like I’m a bit biased. Even so, A Little Bit Longer felt like a more elevated version of themselves and their self-titled effort.

2008 also really felt like the year when the brothers came into their own and got their footing at Hollywood Records. Disney was a huge part of the Jonas Brothers and their rise to fame so it’s always nice to look back on these records and also see just how sanitized some of these topics were.

Even so, A Little Bit Longer was released in 2008 and ended up with 3 singles aside from the 2 promotional singles. I was going to include those but I haven’t before so the three singles from A Little Bit Longer were “Burnin’ Up,” “Lovebug” and “Tonight.” This is going to be a tough one so let’s get into the ranking.

Let’s begin with the third-best single from A Little Bit Longer.

3. “Lovebug”

With the three singles being so amazing, I had no idea which song I wanted to feature at my #3 spot but I had to go with “Lovebug.” As far as singles go, this is the “love song” of the bunch and is all about being in love and having those feelings towards someone. Of course, we eventually found out the brothers wrote it while on tour with Miley Cyrus in a hotel which is amazing.

The lyrics are a lot of fun and this song is still played by the brothers on tour. I remember seeing them in 2008 and this song got everyone hyped. It has that distinct change towards the middle of the song and Joe’s amazing high note is just perfection. The reason why I didn’t put it higher was because I just adored the other two songs more.

“Lovebug” is an amazing song and I know I’ll be looking forward to seeing them perform it again but it’s #3 on my list and in my heart.
