Ahsoka Being Added To Star Wars Rides At Disney Theme Parks

Though her own adventures continue on Disney+, Ahsoka Tano is preparing to join another corner of the Star Wars universe. As announced at Destination D23 in Florida, the character will soon be joining the ranks of the Star Tours ride at Disney parks around the world in spring 2024.

It remains to be seen how much Ahsoka will be included, or even how it will be done. Details weren’t revealed during the panel, so it remains to be seen if Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka on the Disney+ series, will reprise the role.

This comes as both Ahsoka and General Hera Syndulla have been added to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland in California. The series, which is a followup to the animated shows Clone Wars and Rebels centers on Jedi master Ahsoka Tano, a former student of Anakin Skywalker.

Warning: Spoilers follow for the first four episodes of Ahsoka. If you aren’t caught up, you might want to skip the rest of this story.

On the Ahsoka show, Tano is on a mission to locate the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn, as well as her ally Ezra Bridger. At the end of Rebels, the two seemingly traveled to another galaxy and haven’t been seen since. However, there is a way to travel between galaxies that sets up a race between Ahsoka and those loyal to Thrawn.

Perhaps an Ahsoka addition to Star Tours would include her time in the “world between worlds” and potentially take guests to another galaxy in search of Thrawn.

We have reached out to Disney for further clarification and details regarding Ahsoka joining Star Tours. This story will be updated, should a response be provided.
