Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour has somehow gotten even bigger.
It wasn’t enough that Swift announced international tour dates to expand the ever-growing experience to a global audience. Fourteen additional dates have now been added to the rotation, giving even more Swifties the chance to see her perform live.
The artist announced the new European dates on Instagram, writing: “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”
While Swift won’t be going to any cities that weren’t previously announced, she’ll now be doing multiple shows in a number of locations. She has done this in multiple cities during the United States leg of the tour so far.
These additional dates mean The Ears Tour is expected to include over 130 shows in total by the time it (theoretically) ends in the summer of 2024. It’s her biggest tour yet — and not just in its reach. The tour is breaking records financially, too.
But Swift isn’t doing this alone. (She never does — our girl knows how to share the spotlight.) Paramore will tag along as her opening act for a number of these shows. Hayley Williams and Taylor Swift have been good friends for years — and now they get to share stage time!
Basically, this tour may never end. It just keeps getting better and better.
Listen, it’s not that we want The Eras tour to say its final goodbyes … ever. With U.S. shows wrapping up in August, we very well could have been gearing up for the final bow. But South America! Asia! Europe! Australia! Paramore! What’s next?
Technically, what’s next is another Taylor’s Version album — Speak Now (TV) to be exact, released July 7. If you were among the groups who saw Eras before this album came out, you’re finally going to get your Speak Now fill. It’s not a tour … but Paramore will still make an appearance.
It’s the Year of Taylor Swift. And it’s only July. What a time to be alive.
