Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is coming out in a matter of days. I don’t know about you, but I love going out to buy a Taylor Swift album on release day.
While the days of CDs seem to be forgotten, a lot of us still go out and buy them. Then again, some people are looking to buy vinyl records rather than CDs. No matter which camp you’re in, Taylor Swift has something for you.
For some Taylor fans, it’s all about owning a few copies of the same album and sometimes, there are special editions. For the U.S., we always have the Target editions to look forward to and that always gets fans even more excited than the album.
Target always has the best perks when it comes to buying an album from your favorite artist but is Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) going to be getting a Target exclusive edition?

If you’re planning to head out to Target to grab Speak Now (Taylor’s Version,) you’ll be happy to know there is going to be a Target edition. However, it’s with a twist. Rather than the regular CD being a Target exclusive, Taylor decided to make it the vinyl this round. I mean it makes sense, but is a bummer for those wanting a CD.
Regardless, Target already has the description up on its website which shows you the perks you’ll be getting: 3 Target-exclusive Lilac marbled color vinyl discs and 22 Songs along with 6 previously unreleased Songs From The Vault, a Collectible album jacket with unique front and back cover art,
Collectible album sleeves including lyrics and never-before-seen photos and Full-size gatefold photograph and prologue.” As you can tell, that’s a pretty great deal and you’re still able to preorder it for $48.99.
I know everyone has different ideas on if they’ll even play the Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) vinyl but at least, you’ll be able to grab one at your local Target. I don’t know about you, but I like to get there early as I’ve been late a few times and they were sold out. That was for the Jonas Brothers, but I’m sure it’s even worse for Taylor Swift fans.
