Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman Get Violent in R-Rated Justice League: Warworld Trailer

The Justice League lead the resistance on a brutal planet in the newly released trailer for the upcoming DC animated movie, Justice League: Warworld. Released courtesy of Warner Bros. Entertainment, Justice League: Warworld finds the latest iteration of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman coming together for the first time to stand for truth, justice, and all that good stuff. Check out the R rated new trailer for Justice League: Warworld below.

“Until now, the Justice League has been a loose association of superpowered individuals,” the official synopsis for Justice League: Warworld begins. “But when they are swept away to War World, a place of unending brutal gladiatorial combat, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the others must somehow unite to form an unbeatable resistance able to lead an entire planet to freedom.”

Seeing the iconic trinity together again never ceases to excite, with one of the more intriguing elements of Justice League: Warworld being Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman being dropped into different universes. Superman finds himself in black-and-white and trying to solve a noir-style crime, with Wonder Woman lands in the wild west, and Batman in a barbaric, viking-esque world.
