Ain’t no party like a drag queen party because a drag queen party don’t stop — but it will ask, “Are you still watching?” Of course I’m indirectly referring to Hulu’s Drag Me to Dinner, the new 10-episode series that pits pairs of drag queens against each other to see who can throw the better dinner party. The queens are responsible for cooking, decorating, and entertaining — even if two of those three categories are not within their areas of expertise. This is a madcap show filled with too many wigs and bits to count. It’s a fever dream of a show, but the fun kind of fever — the kind of fever that Carly Rae Jepsen sang about. So what are you waiting for? The party has already started, you just have to press play.
