“Reader Emails,” “Bachelorette” Talk, @BachelorData on Ratings, & Your Daily Roundup – Reality Steve

As reported a couple weeks ago, the “Women Tell All” tapes this Friday in LA. Hopefully I’ll hear the results sometime this weekend and if I do, I will post them as soon as I can. With that said, I’ve heard that the “Bachelorette” for next season has already been chosen. Only problem is, I haven’t heard who it is. If I did, I’d tell you. We know that this show has never gone outside the franchise in 19 seasons of the “Bachelorette” (every one has appeared on the “Bachelor” already), and yesterday in my column (and Monday’s Daily Roundup), I laid out if they were to NOT choose any of Zach’s women, there’s only 2 single women in the franchise right now that finished in the top 4 of their season in the last SEVEN “Bachelor” seasons – Susie and Bri. Rachel, Gabby, Michelle, and Tayshia are, at least, publicly single. But I highly doubt they’re gonna be the “Bachelorette” again. So just for those clamoring for it not to be one of Zach’s women, you literally only have 2 other options out there. And judging by recent interviews she’s done, it doesn’t seem like Susie would be interested in the gig. So more than likely, this next “Bachelorette” is coming from Zach’s season. As soon as I hear anything, you’ll be the first to know.

(SPOILERS) Today’s Daily Roundup covers @Bachelordata’s latest post on ratings, WTA tapes Friday and what I’m hearing regarding the “Bachelorette,” Rachel Recchia takes to Twitter, and my Taylor Swift saga for the last couple months.

Last weeks podcast guest, TV critic at EW.com Kristen Baldwin, got to interview the producers of the “Bachelor” to talk about how the episode in London unfolded. A really interesting look at how many different moving pieces there were and what it took to pull off the episode it did. Interesting stuff for sure, and probably a lot more than what people thought went into it. I think this also dispels any notion that Zach never had COVID. I can’t imagine they did this whole interview, and the whole cast in crew is in on this giant coverup when, hell, I think we’ve all asked this question ever since 2020 which is, “What if the lead got COVID during filming?” Now that it happened, people immediately doubt it. I guess don’t let facts get in the way of your conspiracy theories/narratives.

Suzana (@Bachelordata) has a great post up from yesterday regarding this show and ratings. The most lazy, uninformed take you can hear from internet trolls is the shows ratings suck and no one’s watching anymore. Just take time to listen to her deep dive into that before jumping to that conclusion:

“Reader Emails” begins on Page 2…
