Focus Features has unveiled the trailer for its Sundance-bound action-comedy Polite Society, marking the feature debut of writer-director Nida Manzoor (We Are Lady Parts), which is slated for release in theaters on Friday, April 28.

After enlisting the help of her friends, Ria attempts to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.
Pic’s producers are Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Olivier Kaempfer and John Pocock. Its cast also includes Ritu Arya, Nimra Bucha, Akshay Khanna, Seraphina Beh and Ella Bruccoleri.
