2023 Golden Globes Winners List (Updating Live)

“The Banshees of Inisherin” and “Abbott Elementary” led the film and TV categories with the most nominations.

The 2023 Golden Globes winners are in the can. And “The Fabelmans,” winner of Best Motion Picture Drama and Best Director for Steven Spielberg, and “The Banshees of Inisherin,” winner of Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, have emerged with some major momentum heading into the last two months of Oscar season.

The night got off to a rousing beginning with Ke Huy Quan winning Best Supporting Actor for “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” and Angela Bassett won Best Supporting Actress for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” Tyler James Williams won the TV award for Best Supporting Actor for “Abbott Elementary,” and the music categories brought down the house: “Babylon” for Original Score and “Naatu Naatu” from “RRR” as Best Original Song. Best Actress in a Comedy Series went to Quinta Brunson. And fans of “The Bear” rejoice: Jeremy Allen White won Best Actor in a Comedy Series.

Michelle Yeoh gave a moving speech about her unique journey through Hollywood when she won Best Actress in a Comedy for “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” And so did Guillermo del Toro, accepting the Best Motion Picture – Animated prize for “Pinocchio.”

Colin Farrell and Austin Butler gained momentum in their Best Actor bids, winning the prizes for Best Actor in a Comedy and in a Drama, respectively.

On the TV side, “The White Lotus” carried forward momentum that could power it into the upcoming Emmy season, winning the Golden Globe for Best Limited or Anthology Series and also Best Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for Jennifer Coolidge.

“Abbott Elementary” won three awards: Best Comedy Series, as well as Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Quinta Brunson and Best Supporting Actor for Tyler James Williams.
