Does The Batman Have a Chance At Winning?

Courtesy of Warner Bros Discovery

The Batman is not only a comic movie, it is a detective noir that set itself apart from other typical comic book movies. When you watch it you don’t just get a sense you are just watching a comic movie. It feels like you are in a cinematic masterpiece interwoven with all of Reeves’ storytelling.

Michael Giacchino’s amazing score clearly stands out and will be a very strong contender. Greg Frasier’s stunning cinematography perfectly set the tone for the detective element of the movie and the production design showcased a gritty Gotham unlike anything we have ever seen.

Pattinson exceeded everyone’s expectations and transformed himself fully into the caped crusader. He gave it his all and made Bruce into a more human tortured version that we have not seen as of yet. Also them not going the playboy route which is boring at this point. He will eventually get there but this his beginning story which Pattinson showed off beautifully. This earns him an chance at being a strong contender in this race.

Reeves is the golden goose that Warner Bros Discovery needed. He is creating this beautiful gritty version of Gotham and all of it’s characters brought to life and we are loving every second depicted of it. He will definitely have a shot at getting Best Director and holding his own with all the possible contenders. Everyone on this list has done such a fantastic job at showcasing their talent and achievements while making this movie, but more than likely it will get all the main categories and not all 15. I am excited to see how this will all play out but it’s about time that these type of movies got considered in the Oscars race.

While all these categories have been submitted by Warner Bros Discovery it doesn’t necessarily mean they will all appear on the voting ballot with the academy.  Here you will find the whole process as to how the voting works. We wish all the nominees the best of luck and may the best person and movie win!
