Jeremy Renner recently shared his seemingly stunned reaction to the new flying car Tesla unveiled at an event held at a SpaceX test facility in Texas.
In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Renner reshared the video of the flying car Tesla posted and simply wrote, “Wow.” In the video, the car is seen climbing a speed ramp using suction underneath, then flipping off it before hovering in the air using air jets and landing softly.
Musk was present for the demonstration at the test facility in Texas, where he told the crowd that there was no driver in the car to make sure they “don’t kill anyone.”
According to The Guardian, Musk further said about the car, “Flying cars are real. It’s got altitude controls, thrusters, and main thrusters in the rear. So it can basically fly like a rocket; it can do rolls, crazy gymnastics.” The Tesla CEO added that the car is reportedly not legal under any jurisdiction and is “not necessarily a safety-optimized car.”
American reality TV personality Spencer Pratt also shared his reaction to the car on X and wrote in a post, “Dude. Elon Musk is on another planet.”
Musk also lauded his two companies, stating, “You’re going to see what happens when you have a collaboration with the world’s best car company and the world’s best rocket company. This is the culmination of incredible work by Tesla and SpaceX engineers.”
