Disha Patani’s sister and former Indian Army officer, Khushboo Patani, has made a post about a CO2 air pistol, and it comes at a time when women’s safety has once again come under scrutiny following a series of disturbing cases reported in Bihar and Delhi. The fitness enthusiast shared a glimpse of a .177 air pistol modelled on the Glock 17 Gen 4, while stressing that it must be handled responsibly.
The post comes amid recent cases involving women and minors in the two states. In Bihar, a teenage girl in Samastipur was allegedly harassed and assaulted by a group of men, while a separate incident in Jamui involved a teenage boy and girl who were allegedly stopped and assaulted, with the girl allegedly being molested. In Delhi, a 17-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped at Aastha Kunj Park near Kalkaji by three men who allegedly posed as police officers.
Sharing a picture of the weapon, she included a clear disclaimer about its intended use and safety. Khushboo wrote, “Only for self-defence. This is not a toy. No matter whether it is real or not, you must use it wisely and responsibly. .177 Air Pistol Glock 17 Gen 4. For educational purposes only.”
What Is A CO2 Air Pistol?

In her Instagram post, Khushboo said that the air pistol can be carried because it is lightweight and described it as being intended for defence and safety purposes.
